About the Role
This position offers you the opportunity to create relationships that motivate us all every day. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support within a residential setting or periodic program. Your day will involve partnering with individuals to foster their growth and independence through socialization, health maintenance, and skill development. You will assist with daily activities ranging from personal care and housekeeping to community integration and recreational activities, ensuring that every person served receives individualized support tailored to their unique needs and preferences.
Hiring Process & Application
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license in good standing. All applicants are required to successfully complete state-mandated training and certifications. Prior to employment, candidates must submit to drug testing and undergo comprehensive criminal background checks, including reviews against the Central Registry of Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities and the Child Abuse Registry Information (CARI). Successful completion of these requirements is mandatory to work with the individuals we serve.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
