As a Caregiver, you will serve as a vital link in the support system, ensuring the safety and well-being of those you serve while helping them achieve their personalized goals.
This role is more than just task completion; it is about building friendly, professional relationships while maintaining appropriate boundaries. You will act as a positive role model, demonstrating strong work ethics and behavior that empowers children and individuals to reach their desired outcomes. Your day will involve collaborating closely with families and the broader team to implement service plans, manage high-need situations, and facilitate transitions through various life domains.
You will be responsible for documenting daily progress with accuracy and clarity, ensuring that all interventions and individual responses are recorded to reflect the strengths-based perspective central to our mission. Whether working indoors in a home setting or out in the community, you will coordinate transportation, monitor service delivery, and actively engage with informal and formal supports to promote community-based care.
Candidates selected for an interview will be expected to demonstrate their ability to work effectively within a team and handle the responsibilities of the role. Please note that all applicants must be at least 18 years of age and must pass a criminal background check. Successful candidates will also need to obtain specific certifications, including First Aid (American Red Cross or American Heart Association) and Mandt training.
