This position is dedicated to providing comprehensive QDDP (Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional) services for both adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role serves as a critical link in ensuring high-quality care, focusing on the management of records, the conduct of assessments, and the oversight of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs).
You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of client services, from prescreening and admission to discharge planning. A significant portion of the day involves coordinating closely with support coordinators to schedule meetings, reviewing documentation, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. The role requires active participation in Intake, SIS, and Annual meetings, as well as the preparation of detailed reports such as Quarterly Service Reviews.
This role involves travel within the Commonwealth of Virginia. Meetings and site visits may occur in Richmond, Virginia Beach, Suffolk, Norfolk, Newport News, Hampton, Chesapeake, and surrounding areas. A valid Virginia driver's license is required to fulfill these travel obligations.
We are seeking a dedicated professional with a Bachelor's degree and at least one year of experience working with the intellectually and developmentally disabled population. Supervisory skills are essential for this position. While certifications in Therapeutic Options, First Aid, and CPR are preferred, training will be provided if necessary.
The ideal candidate possesses strong documentation and communication skills, along with a deep familiarity with regulations governed by DBHDS, the Offices of Human Rights, Medicaid, the Department of Labor, OSHA, and Community Service Boards.
