About the Role
As a Direct Support Associate, you will serve as a vital partner to individuals with disabilities, helping them navigate daily life with dignity, independence, and safety. This on-site role is designed for those who are passionate about empowering others to live their best lives. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to implement individualized support plans, ensuring that each person's unique goals and wellness needs are met.
Your day will be filled with meaningful interactions, from assisting with personal care and meals to accompanying individuals on community outings and social events. By promoting community integration and maintaining a safe, respectful environment, you will help build confidence and foster independence. This role requires collaboration with clinical teams and families to ensure continuity of care, all while documenting services and progress with accuracy and timeliness.
