About the Role
We are seeking a Direct Service Worker to join our team in Tupelo, MS, working the A shift (7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.). In this role, you will serve as a Supervised Living Direct Support Professional, providing direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD) living in our supervised living program.
Your day will focus on fostering independence and social development. You will assist individuals in acquiring and maintaining adaptive skills, such as money management and medication management, while engaging them in meaningful day activities that build positive social behavior and interpersonal competence. A key part of your responsibility is ensuring safety and supervision at all times, whether in the home, during transportation, or while participating in community integration activities. You will also serve as an active member of the Communicare Treatment Team, participating in meetings and collaborating with supervisors to support the well-being of those we serve.
