LifeMoves is the largest and most effective provider of housing and services for neighbors experiencing homelessness in Silicon Valley. Since 1987, our mission has been to end homelessness by providing interim housing, supportive services, and building collaborative partnerships. With 40 programs, we give our neighbors a temporary place to call home while providing intensive, customized case management through site-based programs and community outreach.
The Interim Supportive Housing (ISH) Mountain View Family Case Manager is a vital member of the team at LifeMoves | Mountain View Homekey (MTV). This site provides interim supportive housing to 12 families, 12 couples, and 76 individuals. During their stay, clients participate in holistic services tailored to each household's unique needs and goals, receiving support to build self-sufficiency and return to housing stability.
Reporting to the site Program Director, you will provide case management, support daily site operations, and maintain a safe and welcoming environment. You will work in partnership with clients to set goals, celebrate progress, and overcome challenges using a trauma-informed and strength-based approach. Your role is to build trust and respect, ensuring clients feel heard, valued, and supported throughout their journey as they move toward safe, stable housing.
Beyond direct client support, you will help improve the overall program by identifying service gaps and strengthening community relationships. This is a temporary role for approximately two months at this location, with the possibility of continued employment at a different LifeMoves Interim housing site.
Candidates who are bilingual/bi-cultural, of color, Native/Indigenous, with disabilities, who identify as LGBTQIA+, or who are members of other marginalized groups are strongly encouraged to apply.
