About the Role
As a Direct Care Worker, you will be the vital link between our clients and the care they need. This role exists to support patients in their homes by performing or assisting with personal care activities as prescribed in their plan of care, including hygiene, mobility, and elimination. You will also assist with home maintenance tasks such as light housekeeping and meal preparation, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Your day involves practicing universal infection control precautions, utilizing safe transfer and ambulation techniques, and respecting the autonomy and confidentiality of every patient and family. You will document the care provided and the consumer's response in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including Medicare regulations and HIPAA guidelines. By interacting positively with all staff and adhering to our Code of Conduct, you help uphold our mission to deliver professional, ethical, and compassionate care.
