About the Role
As a Direct Care Worker, you will be the compassionate face of our mission, performing or assisting patients with personal care activities as prescribed in their plan of care. Your day will involve supporting hygiene, mobility, and elimination needs, as well as assisting with home maintenance activities like light housekeeping and meal preparation. You will practice safe transfer, ambulation, and positioning techniques while respecting the autonomy and confidentiality of all patients and families.
In this role, you will document the care provided and the consumer's response in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and agency policies. You will interact with all staff in a positive fashion, supporting our mission and vision, and conducting all business activities in a professional and ethical manner.
