About the Role

As a Food Service Director, you will lead the dining department at a long-term care facility. This role exists to ensure high food quality standards, effective inventory management, and strict adherence to food safety protocols. You will be responsible for overseeing the food service program at a single site, ensuring compliance with facility menus, federal, state, and local regulations, and HCSG policies.

In this position, you will partner with client managers, building occupants, and administrators to communicate directives effectively. You will lead and support the food service team, conducting training and quality control sessions while performing roles such as dietary aide, cook, or dishwasher as needed. Your day-to-day involves maintaining accurate records of income, expenditures, and supplies, while representing HCSG through courteous interactions with supervisors, co-workers, residents, and guests.

Nice to Have
