As a Food Service Director, you will lead the dining department at a long-term care facility, ensuring high food quality standards, inventory management, and exceptional customer service. This role exists to consistently provide quality dining services that adhere to facility menus, federal, state, and local regulations, and HCSG policies.
In this position, you will partner with client managers, building occupants, and administrators to communicate directives effectively. You will lead and support the food service team, conducting training and quality control sessions while performing roles such as dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher as needed. Your day-to-day involves maintaining accurate records of income, expenditures, and supplies, ensuring a sanitary environment through strict adherence to infection control and safety procedures, and representing HCSG through courteous interactions with staff, residents, and guests.

Associate's degree or higher in food service management or hospitality, including food service or restaurant management coursework. Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and personnel supervision. Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification.
