This position serves as a vital liaison between dining services and nursing units, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of meals to patients. Your day involves actively engaging with patients and families to provide excellent customer service, using portable technology to assist in meal selection and reviewing diet orders. You will communicate regularly with nursing staff regarding patient status changes, such as admissions, transfers, and diet modifications, while monitoring patient intake and satisfaction. Additionally, you will act as a bridge to clinical dietitians, reporting on special dietary needs and limited intake to ensure alternative options are provided when necessary.
