About the Role
As a Dietary Aide, you will be a vital part of our food service team, ensuring that every meal served meets strict nutritional and safety standards. You will work closely with the facility's Dietician, Dietetic Technician, and other supervisors to implement recommended changes and maintain compliance with established policies.
Your day will involve reviewing menus prior to food preparation and inspecting special diet trays to assure they are correct. You will process diet changes received from Nursing Services and assist in establishing the food service production line to ensure meals are prepared on time. Additionally, you will handle administrative requirements, such as completing necessary forms and reports, and coordinate dietary services with other departments as needed.
