About the Role
This position serves as a clinical leader dedicated to supporting FMCNA's mission, vision, and core values while upholding a philosophy of exceptional customer service. As the primary authority for daily operations, the role ensures the provision of high-quality patient care within a cost-effective framework, strictly adhering to all regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements.
The role exists to bridge the gap between strategic objectives and tactical execution. You will coordinate activities to drive results across costs, methods, and staffing, ensuring continuity of care and the safety of both patients and staff. This is a multi-faceted leadership position requiring the ability to analyze diverse factors, evaluate current business trends, and make decisions that directly impact organizational goals and work processes.
A Day in the Life
Your day involves managing the full spectrum of facility operations, from the tactical execution of short- and long-term objectives to the nuanced coordination of patient care. You will lead the Interdisciplinary Team to resolve patient problems, develop action plans for missed treatments, and ensure timely patient assessments and care plans.
You will act as a vital liaison between the facility, physicians, and external partners, facilitating strong relationships and ensuring effective communication. This includes managing physician privileges, scheduling CQI meetings, and coordinating care for disease management agreements. On the administrative side, you will oversee facility integrity, including water systems and equipment, manage inventory and supply costs, and review financial statements.
A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to staff development. You will recruit, interview, and train new personnel, provide ongoing coaching and counseling, and foster a culture of professional growth and continuous quality improvement. You will also serve as a resource for staff regarding benefits, HR policies, and risk management initiatives.
