This position serves as a clinical leader dedicated to supporting FMCNA's mission, vision, and core values while upholding a philosophy of exceptional customer service. As the primary clinical authority at the facility, you will ensure the provision of high-quality patient care while maintaining cost-effective clinical operations that adhere to all legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
You will act as the bridge between the organization's strategic objectives and daily tactical execution. Your role involves coordinating activities to achieve specific results in costs, methods, and staffing, while fostering an engaged and productive workforce through leadership, coaching, and development. You will be responsible for driving FMS quality standards, managing adverse events, and ensuring the integrity of medical records and facility safety.
Your day is defined by a dynamic balance of patient advocacy, staff development, and operational oversight. You will coordinate all aspects of patient care from admission through discharge, serving as a resource for patients regarding quality measures, transplant options, and treatment adherence. By organizing Interdisciplinary Team meetings, you will resolve patient problems and ensure timely care plans are executed.
You will lead the facility's staff through recruitment, training, and performance management, creating opportunities for professional growth and ensuring clinical competence. Your interactions will extend to physicians, where you will facilitate privileges, maintain strong relationships, and participate in governing body meetings. Additionally, you will oversee the facility's technical integrity, including water systems and equipment, while managing administrative duties such as payroll review, supply utilization, and compliance with federal and state surveys.
Candidates selected for this role must complete Clinical Manager training modules and ongoing developmental programs within the specified timeline. The position requires availability as a full-time employee with on-call coverage when necessary. A condition of employment includes taking the Ishihara's Color Blindness test; however, failing this test does not preclude employment, as the company will consider reasonable accommodations.
