Maximus is seeking a Diagnostic Scheduling Communication Specialist to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team. In this remote capacity, you will serve as a vital link between veterans and our provider network, managing incoming scheduling communications and distributing essential facility information to internal teams. Your work ensures that administrative functions run smoothly, directly supporting regional teams, Team Support Specialists, and Team Leads in delivering timely care coordination.
Your primary focus will be facilitating the appointment journey for veterans. This involves making outbound calls to gather required information, managing rescheduling requests, and acting as the first point of contact for the Scheduling Hunt Group. You will diligently monitor voicemails and emails to ensure no inquiry goes unanswered, processing Claimant Appointment Packets (CAPS) and coordinating with internal departments as needed. A key part of your role includes the logistical handling of hard copy CAPS, ensuring they are printed and mailed via FedEx to veterans. You will also work within a structured schedule, committing to a dedicated 3-week training period followed by a consistent Monday through Friday shift.
To apply, please note that due to contract requirements, candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card holders. If you require assistance during any phase of the employment process, including accessing job postings or participating in interviews, please contact People Operations at applicantaccom@maximus.com.
This is a fully remote position requiring you to permanently reside in the Continental US. You must maintain a private work area with a reliable internet connection (20mbps or higher) via Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Maximus will provide all necessary computer equipment for this role; however, you are required to use company-provided devices and remain at your designated home location for all work activities.
Maximus is an equal opportunity employer. We evaluate qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, genetic information, and other legally protected characteristics.
For positions on this contract, Maximus will pay the prevailing wage rate for the location in which the employee is working, as determined by the Department of Labor. This rate varies by locality. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation.
