Maximus is seeking a Diagnostic Scheduling Communication Specialist to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team. In this remote capacity, you will serve as a vital link between veterans and our provider network, managing incoming scheduling communications and distributing essential facility information to internal teams. Your work ensures that administrative functions run smoothly, directly supporting regional teams, Team Support Specialists, and Team Leads.
Your primary focus will be facilitating the scheduling journey for veterans. This involves making calls to gather required information, managing rescheduling requests, and acting as the first point of contact for the Scheduling Hunt Group. You will diligently monitor voicemails and emails to ensure timely responses, while also processing pending Claimant Appointment Packets (CAPS). The role requires a blend of communication and logistics, including sending manual CAPS, coordinating with internal departments, and handling the physical mailing of hard copies to veterans via FedEx.
This is a fully remote position, but strict adherence to contract requirements is necessary. You must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder and permanently reside in the Continental US. Work must be conducted from a designated home location with no travel permitted. Maximus will provide all necessary computer equipment; however, you are required to maintain a private work area with a high-speed internet connection (20mbps or higher) and a reliable power source.
Candidates selected for this role must be available for a mandatory 3-week training period, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CST, with no prescheduled absences. Upon completion of training, you will commit to a standard work schedule of Monday through Friday, with shifts available in CST, EST, or PST time zones.

For positions on this contract, compensation is determined by the prevailing wage rate for the specific location as defined by the Department of Labor. Maximus is committed to providing reasonable accommodations throughout the employment process for individuals with disabilities or medical conditions.
