The Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Director serves as the strategic leader for the program, overseeing its operations, curriculum design, and accreditation compliance. As the Program Director, you will act as the primary liaison between the program faculty, university administration, and external accrediting bodies like the JRCDMS. Your day involves balancing administrative oversight with active engagement in curriculum enhancement, faculty mentoring, and student success initiatives. You will lead the selection of faculty, facilitate advisory board meetings, and collaborate with clinical coordinators to maintain strong relationships with clinical sites.
Candidates selected for this position will be expected to demonstrate a strong command of educational theories, program administration, and the specific clinical standards of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. The selection process focuses on identifying leaders who can work independently while effectively consulting with the Dean of Academic Affairs and Campus President to drive program effectiveness.
