About the Role
The Diagnostic Imaging Tech I serves as a foundational member of the radiology department, demonstrating both technical knowledge and a strong sense of responsibility in daily operations. This role is dedicated to performing routine radiographs using a variety of X-ray equipment across multiple settings, including the Orthopedic Clinic, Fluoroscopic suites, and Operating Room procedures utilizing c-arm technology.
Working under the direction of Radiologists, Supervisors, and Lead Technologists, the Tech I adheres to established practices to ensure high-quality imaging. The position requires flexibility, as team members may be scheduled across a variety of shifts, multiple campuses, weekends, and holidays. Additionally, staff are expected to participate in a rotational call schedule to support departmental needs.
