The Process Engineer III serves as a leader for defined project scopes, such as specific areas, series of unit operations, or systems. This role involves managing the scope, budget, and schedule for projects ranging from small to medium size, with complexity commensurate with the engineer's experience level.
A key aspect of this position is acting as the primary bridge between client needs and design execution. You will communicate effectively and frequently with clients to identify design requirements, translate them into actionable scope, and document open issues, decisions, and necessary actions to consistently advance the design. You will also be responsible for identifying departures from contracted scope or changes in design direction, elevating these matters to the Discipline Lead or Project Manager as required.
This position operates in a hybrid work model, requiring the employee to live within a reasonable commuting distance of the Atlanta, GA location and report onsite as needed. We are open to providing relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

EIT or PE certification. Highly proficient with performing complex engineering tasks with limited supervision. Experience coordinating and managing a design within a project team or with construction trade partners and vendors. Experience with supporting construction activities such as RFI responses, submittal reviews, punch list development, and construction progress reports. Basic experience with commissioning, startup, qualification, operating, or troubleshooting issues with process systems.
