Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePrepare patients for examinations by recording vital signs and obtaining detailed medical histories
- check_circleAssist physicians during patient exams and procedures, ensuring availability of medical tools and equipment
- check_circlePerform basic laboratory testing and facilitate specimen collection and processing
- check_circleMaintain precise and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- check_circleCoordinate appointment scheduling and foster effective communication throughout the office
- check_circleProvide patient education on treatments, medications, and dermatological care instructions
- check_circleEnsure examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
Requirements
- verifiedHigh school diploma or equivalent
- verifiedMedical Assistant certification preferred
- verifiedPrior experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting
- verifiedKnowledge of medical terminology, particularly related to dermatology
- verifiedFamiliarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software
- verifiedAuthorized to work in the United States
Nice to Have
Medical Assistant certification. Prior experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software.
