About the Role
Health Advocates Network is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at a facility in San Diego, California. In this registry position, you will serve as a vital link between patients and the nursing staff, ensuring a supportive and efficient healthcare environment.
You will provide direct patient care under the direction of nursing staff, recording vital signs, weight, and medical history updates. Your day will involve assisting nurses with medical inventory, administering prescribed medications, and sterilizing medical tools. Beyond clinical duties, you will be expected to build rapport with patients, maintaining a clean and healthy environment while demonstrating a caring demeanor and familiarity with medical terminology.
