The Dermatology department at Cleveland Clinic Health System is expanding its programs and seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Dermatologist with a focus on Patch Testing. This role is part of the "academic clinical dermatologist" track, situated at our Main campus. This location serves both the local community and functions as an international tertiary care referral center.
The department is home to an abundant array of patients with complex dermatologic diseases, referred directly from outside physicians or indirectly from other Cleveland Clinic physicians. While the role encompasses the full spectrum of dermatologic disease, the focus is primarily on medical dermatology and subspecialties, with the option to incorporate surgical dermatology. Physicians in this track are expected to actively participate in resident education, hospital inpatient consultation rotations, and lecturing at local, national, and international conferences. There is also a strong emphasis on research, supported by access to state-of-the-art resources. Success in this role requires a desire to advance both personal and the department's reputation as world leaders in dermatology.
This position offers a dynamic opportunity to practice clinical dermatology within a collegial work environment. The role includes quality patient visit times supported by a full staff, including Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), Medical Assistants (MAs), managers, and billing/clerical personnel. An academic appointment at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University is available, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The position is with a Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) qualifying employer.
