As the Deputy Fire Services Chief, you will serve as a key leader within the fire protection and emergency response framework at this remote installation. You will assist the Fire Services Chief in directing all fire and emergency services activities, ensuring programs are administered in strict accordance with DoD regulations, NFPA standards, and the DoD Fire & Emergency Services Certification Program (F&ESCP).
In this role, you will provide operational oversight for Assistant Fire Chiefs managing Operations, Training, Prevention, and Dispatch. Your day-to-day involves evaluating operational strategies, supporting emergency incident response, and developing departmental procedures to maintain effective and safe services. You will be responsible for ensuring operational readiness, personnel competency, and equipment maintenance, acting as a critical link between senior command and frontline fire companies during high-stress incidents.
