The Deputy Elections Administrator serves as the executive-level operational and tactical leader for the Elections Administration Department in Tarrant County. This position is critical to ensuring the integrity, security, and efficiency of all election processes, from voter registration to the final certification of results. Acting as the primary authority in the absence of the Elections Administrator, the Deputy oversees the coordination of Voter Registrar duties and manages the complex logistics of election management activities.
The role exists to provide a seamless operational backbone for the county's democratic processes. The day-to-day reality involves directing multiple operational teams, managing personnel from hiring to performance evaluation, and ensuring strict adherence to the Texas Election Code and federal directives. The Deputy will navigate a fast-paced environment, balancing high-level strategic planning with the tactical demands of election cycles, including early voting, Election Day operations, and post-election audits.
The Elections Administration Department is dedicated to maintaining public trust through secure, accessible, and compliant election operations. As a key partner to county departments, state and federal agencies, municipalities, and school districts, the team works to uphold the integrity of the ballot box.
