About the Role

Klamath County seeks dedicated legal professionals who want to make this beautiful area their home and are looking for a position where their contributions are valued and recognized. The Deputy District Attorney positions (I, II, and III) serve at the discretion and will of the District Attorney, playing a critical role in the administration of justice from the submission of police reports to final resolution.

This role offers a dynamic day-to-day environment where you will prosecute a caseload ranging from misdemeanors to major felonies, including Measure 11 cases. You will collaborate with other attorneys, participate in County Multidisciplinary Teams (MDT) when necessary, and draft essential legal documents such as motions, orders, memoranda, and search warrants. Your work will directly impact the community by ensuring fair and efficient prosecution of criminal offenses, including DUII, assaults, thefts, domestic violence, and sexual assault cases.
