The Deputy County Attorney serves as a vital legal partner to the County, providing comprehensive counsel to elected officials, departments, boards, and authorities. In this position, you will work closely with the County Attorney to lead a division of senior assistant county attorneys. The role demands a strategic approach to managing complex legal matters, from drafting and interpreting ordinances to representing the County in high-stakes litigation across state and federal courts. You will be responsible for guiding the division's daily operations, coordinating with outside counsel, and delivering actionable legal solutions to internal clients.
