About the Role
Department Supervisors serve as the backbone of our store operations, leading, training, and coaching associates to ensure every customer receives excellent service and can easily locate the merchandise they need. Beyond daily team management, this role provides valuable input into operational and merchandising decisions, bridging the gap between the Store Management Team and the Operations Team.
Success in this position requires strong product and operational knowledge. Depending on the specific store structure, supervisors may lead single departments such as Building Materials, Decor, Electrical, Flooring, Gardening, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, Pro Account Sales, Tool Rental, Front End, Freight, Receiving, Associate Support, Special Services, and Merchandising Execution, or manage a combination of multiple departments.
