The Treatment Plan Coordinator serves as the vital link between clinical care and office operations, ensuring the daily non-clinical functions of the practice run smoothly. This role is dedicated to maximizing patient satisfaction, driving revenue, and maintaining the profitability of the clinic. You will be responsible for orchestrating effective treatment scheduling, managing patient communications, and handling essential business-related functions delegated by the direct supervisor.
Your day involves providing superior patient service with a focus on responsiveness and sensitivity to patient needs. You will act as the first point of contact for resolving any patient dissatisfaction, ensuring all interactions align with company policies, government regulations, and dental board standards. Key activities include collecting co-payments, verifying insurance coverage, and managing after-hour calls and emails.
A significant portion of your time will be spent executing patient consults to ensure patients fully understand their doctor-prescribed treatment plans. You will conduct chart audits, perform handoffs, and update treatment plans within the company operational system. Working closely with the Doctor, you will help uncover and remove barriers preventing patients from completing their treatment, while educating them on insurance benefits and affordable financing options. Additionally, you will monitor patient flow and staff schedules to ensure the clinic operates with maximum timeliness and efficiency.
