As a Business Assistant at Metro Dentalcare, you will be the first point of contact for patients, creating a great first impression as you greet and welcome them to the office. Your day will involve managing front office duties, including answering phones, handling mail and email, and communicating with patients and insurance companies.
You will utilize Dentrix to manage patient scheduling and records, coordinating appointments for multiple providers. A key part of your role involves partnering with providers and the team to implement Heartland Dental systems to optimize office potential. You will also handle the financial side of patient care by filing insurance claims, following up on outstanding claims, verifying benefits, and reviewing treatment plan fees and payment options with patients. This role is designed for someone who values continuous learning and wants to grow within a secure company with over 20 years of industry-leading experience.
Candidates must be available to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year. As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This test must be completed prior to starting employment and will be arranged during the pre-employment process. (Note: This requirement is not applicable in the states of Florida and Tennessee.)
