As a Dental Assistant at Kaiser Permanente's Clackamas Dental Office, you will be an integral part of our team, providing direct support to dentists, hygienists, and denturists. Your mission is to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality dental care and service to our patients. You will work in a collaborative environment where your expertise in four-handed dentistry and patient communication directly contributes to the overall patient experience.
In this role, you will assist providers with a wide range of clinical procedures, from routine cleanings and fillings to orthodontic adjustments and endodontic treatments. Your day will involve preparing operatory spaces, managing patient records, and ensuring that all equipment is functioning correctly. You will also play a key role in patient education, helping individuals understand oral hygiene techniques and prevention strategies. By anticipating the needs of the provider and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment, you help facilitate efficient and effective patient care.
You will be joining a dedicated group of healthcare professionals committed to the Kaiser Permanente model of integrated care. Our team values professionalism, cooperation, and a patient-first approach. We strive to create a supportive atmosphere where staff and patients alike feel comfortable and confident in the care they receive.
Qualified candidates will be invited to participate in an interview process that includes a discussion of their experience and qualifications. A key component of the selection process is a clinical pre-employment skills test, designed to verify your proficiency in essential dental assisting tasks. Successful candidates must also pass a background check and drug screen prior to starting.
