Dental Assistant

About the Role

As a Dental Assistant at Kaiser Permanente's Clackamas Dental Office, you will be an integral part of our team, providing direct support to dentists, hygienists, and denturists. Your mission is to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality dental care and service to our patients. You will work in a collaborative environment where your expertise in four-handed dentistry and patient communication directly contributes to the overall patient experience.

In this role, you will assist providers with a wide range of clinical procedures, from routine cleanings and fillings to orthodontic adjustments and endodontic treatments. Your day will involve preparing operatory spaces, managing patient records, and ensuring that all equipment is functioning correctly. You will also play a key role in patient education, helping individuals understand oral hygiene techniques and prevention strategies. By anticipating the needs of the provider and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment, you help facilitate efficient and effective patient care.
