As a Delivery Specialist (Medical Equipment) based in Houston, TX, you will be the vital link between our medical equipment and the families who rely on it. Your day will involve establishing and maintaining effective relationships with patients, families, and caregivers, ensuring they feel supported and safe. You will schedule and execute timely deliveries to patients' homes, performing the initial set-up of oxygen and other durable medical equipment (DME) while instructing families on their use.
Beyond the road, you will confirm deliveries, report any potentially unsafe conditions, and manage efficient time estimation for drive times. You will also assist with warehouse duties and equipment processing as needed, ensuring the logistics of patient care run smoothly. This role requires the ability to work independently while maintaining excellent communication skills to coordinate regular maintenance for company vehicles and log customer interactions accurately.
