About the Role
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for maintaining and operating store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. Beyond transportation, this role serves as a vital link in the customer experience by collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries and handling customer returns, including new items, warranties, and cores.
In this position, you will manage the entire delivery lifecycle using fleet management hand-held devices to process transactions, capture signatures, and update vehicle mileage. You will ensure vehicles are clean, maintained, and secure, managing keys, fuel cards, and collected funds with care. While the primary focus is on delivery, the role is dynamic; you may occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, or support merchandising and stocking tasks when business needs dictate.
