About the Role
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for maintaining and operating store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. This role serves as a vital link between the store and the customer, ensuring timely delivery of goods and the secure collection of returns, including new items, warranties, and cores.
In this position, you will manage the entire delivery lifecycle using fleet management hand-held devices to process transactions, capture signatures, and update vehicle data. Beyond driving, the role involves maintaining vehicle cleanliness and security, managing fuel and fleet credit cards, and communicating customer needs or vehicle issues directly to store management. The position is dynamic; depending on business demands, you may also assist customers, serve as a cashier, or support merchandising and stocking tasks within the store.
Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Spanish, are highly encouraged to apply. Familiarity with automotive parts and the ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations are key assets for success in this role.
