About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Delivery Driver to become a vital part of our delivery team. In this role, you will ensure inventory stock matches delivery requirements and follow set, scheduled routes to deliver goods accurately and on time. Your day will involve loading and organizing product inventory from the warehouse, navigating using maps or GPS, and ensuring products are delivered to specific locations determined by clients.
As a key link between our warehouse and our customers, you will scan or write in confirmation of delivery, collect signatures and payments, and maintain all delivery paperwork. You will also check in with the warehouse on delivery progress as needed and report any accidents or vehicle issues encountered while en route to supervisors.
Requirements for Drivers
To operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) under DOT/FMCSA driver-qualification rules, you must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.
