We are looking for Drivers to lead a two-person team, serving as the primary point of contact for an established route of customers. In this role, you and your partner will be responsible for delivering and restocking break room essentials, including snacks, beverages, coffee, and general supplies. Your work ensures that our clients' teams stay fueled and well-stocked throughout the workday.
This is a Monday through Friday position with early morning shifts, typically running from 3:00 am to 11:30 am or 4:00 am to 12:30 pm, depending on the specific route assigned. You will start and end each day at our San Leandro warehouse, driving a 14' box-end Isuzu truck. While previous driving experience is a plus, we are committed to training the right candidate who embodies our values.
Your day involves more than just driving; it requires a blend of logistics, customer service, and operational care. You will be responsible for safely operating the company vehicle and maintaining its cleanliness. At each stop, you will stock bins, baskets, and coolers, ensuring older inventory is rotated to the front and adhering to food safety standards. You will also manage storage areas for items like coffee, cream, sugar, plates, and drinks.
A key part of your responsibility is inventory management: checking stock levels at every delivery and placing new orders based on established par levels. You may also need to adjust displays to accommodate specific customer requests. Additionally, you will perform regular light cleaning on coffee brewers and other equipment loaned to customers. Throughout the route, you will serve as the face of our company, providing excellent service and maintaining a positive image at every client site.
