About the Role
We are seeking Full-Time Delivery Drivers for the Rockville, MD area. In this role, you will be the face of Century Distributors, ensuring items are delivered efficiently and professionally. Your day will involve preparing, loading, and unloading trucks, as well as operating the vehicle to reach designated destinations while maintaining a strict schedule.
Beyond driving, you will be responsible for the operational integrity of your truck, including inspecting general conditions, checking fluid levels and tire pressure, and performing preventive maintenance. You will also serve as a key point of contact for customers, understanding and resolving complaints or forwarding them as needed. This is a full-time position with a 10-hour day shift, Monday through Friday.
Hiring Process & Requirements
Candidates must possess a clean, valid driver's license and be willing and able to pass a drug screen and background check. While a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of driving experience are preferred, we are committed to providing comprehensive training for successful candidates. Strong communication and customer service skills, along with the ability to use GPS devices and read maps, are essential for success in this position.
