About the Role

This position serves as a primary leader dedicated to creating an uplifting and friendly customer experience through exceptional service. Your mission is to highly satisfy each customer's needs and exceed their expectations while demonstrating the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

In this role, you will empower associates to create a simple, fresh, and inspired shopping experience for every customer. You will be responsible for interviewing, training, evaluating performance, rewarding, and coaching associates to establish an uplifting work environment where they feel valued, appreciated, and engaged. From delegating work assignments to managing department scheduling and resolving problems in a timely manner, you will ensure the Deli department runs smoothly while supporting the "Customer 1st" team.
