About the Role
Food and food service delivery drivers fulfill a critical role in the country's food supply chain. As a Driver, Shuttle, you are the face of the company, building lasting relationships with customers while ensuring products arrive at their destination on time and in perfect condition.
In this position, you will play a vital role in the operation of the business by transporting empty trailers to Operating Company warehouse locations and delivering full trailers to domicile or shuttle yard locations. You will drive tandem trailers, tractor-trailers, and/or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes. Your work involves turning around to deliver full trailers with various products in a safe and timely manner, strictly adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. You will communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers, ensuring questions are answered accurately and efficiently.
Hiring Process
Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test and a road test. A valid current DOT Health Card is required, or the ability to secure one. A clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past three years is mandatory.
