As a Driver, Shuttle, you will be the face of our company, building lasting relationships with customers while fulfilling a vital operational function. Your primary mission is to transport empty trailers to Operating Company warehouse locations and deliver full trailers with various products to domicile or shuttle yard locations. You will operate tandem trailers, tractor-trailers, and straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, adhering strictly to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
In this role, you are more than just a driver; you are a key team member responsible for the safe and timely movement of goods. You will interact professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers, ensuring all questions are answered accurately. From performing pre- and post-trip safety inspections to managing route paperwork and handling equipment, your work ensures the seamless flow of our food distribution system.
Candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and a road test. A valid CDL A, a clean Motor Vehicle Report for the past three years, and a current DOT Health Card are required. The position is based at 439 Park Loop Rd. in Shepherdsville, KY, with a shift schedule running Sunday through Thursday nights (dispatch between 10 PM and 6 AM).
