The Deburr Technician is a vital member of our aerospace machining and assembly operations, dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of part integrity and safety. In this fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will be the final line of defense before components move to inspection and assembly, meticulously finishing machined parts to meet precise dimensional and quality specifications.
Your day-to-day involves transforming raw machined components into finished parts ready for integration. You will utilize a combination of hand tools and power tools to grind, file, sand, and polish metal surfaces, removing burrs and smoothing imperfections to align with complex blueprint requirements. Beyond the physical finishing work, you will act as a quality gatekeeper, using precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and conducting visual inspections to ensure strict compliance with engineering standards.
Safety and organization are central to your workflow. You will maintain a clean and orderly shop floor while adhering to rigorous safety procedures and company policies. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and a quality-focused mindset, as you collaborate with the team to meet production demands in an environment that includes exposure to noise, metal shavings, and dust.
Candidates must be able to pass a background check. Please note that U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status may be required based on specific contract or customer requirements. If a position requires a Department of Defense (DoD) Security Clearance, successful candidates must be able to obtain and maintain this clearance, as well as secure Program Access approval.
We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, ensuring that our team reflects the variety of perspectives needed to excel in aerospace manufacturing.
