About the Role
This is a 2nd Shift position within a family-oriented company dedicated to operational excellence and safety. As a supervisor, you will lead, coach, and train a team, providing professional development through ongoing guidance. Your primary mission is to optimize performance and employee engagement through positive leadership while ensuring the production area runs smoothly.
Safety is of the utmost importance in this role. You will constantly promote safety throughout the work area and with your team, ensuring strict compliance with company policies and established food safety programs. You will also be responsible for proper scheduling to maintain production flow and handle all other relevant duties associated with supervisory leadership.
Work Environment
The role involves working in a dynamic production environment. You may be exposed to noise levels exceeding 85 decibels, CO2, and moving production lines. The environment can be damp, wet, and cold, and you will work around live and/or raw animal odors. While occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs is required, the company provides all necessary personal protection equipment to ensure your safety.
