Quad in Hartford is seeking motivated, detail-oriented Warehouse Material Handlers (Forklift Drivers) to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our production floor, responsible for inventory control to ensure materials are brought efficiently and accurately to machines. Your work will directly impact our ability to keep production downtime to a minimum.
You will be part of a fast-paced, detail-oriented production environment where you move product using hand jacks, motorized Raymond lifts, or forklifts. The role involves servicing press and finishing machines, loading and unloading finished products from semi-trailers, and maintaining accurate inventory using onboard PCs and RF barcoding systems. This is a full-time position offering a 12-hour compressed work schedule (7 a.m. - 7 p.m.) that does not rotate, allowing you to enjoy four days off every other week while maintaining full-time status.

Strong computer skills. Prior forklift experience where 75% or more of your day is spent on a forklift. Factory, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Shipping, or other work experience where mechanical or handwork was necessary, such as laborer, machinist, assembly, bindery, mechanic, or warehouse work. Printing, Finishing (Bindery), or Warehouse experience.
