Quad in Hartford is seeking motivated, detail-oriented Warehouse Material Handlers to join our team. This role is designed for individuals who are mechanically inclined and ready to take on a new challenge. You will be the backbone of our production floor, responsible for inventory control and ensuring materials are brought efficiently and accurately to machines to minimize downtime.
In this position, you will move products using various lift equipment, service press and finishing machines, and load or unload finished products and materials from semi-trailers. Success in this role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to troubleshoot problems, and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. We offer a 12-hour compressed work schedule (7 a.m. - 7 p.m.) that does not rotate, including days, weekends, and holidays. This 3/4 or 4/3 schedule allows you to work just 182 days a year while maintaining full-time status, providing four days off every other week to pursue hobbies, relax, or spend time with family.

Strong computer skills. Prior forklift experience where 75% or more of your day is spent on a forklift. Factory, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Shipping, or other work experience where mechanical or handwork was necessary, such as laborer, machinist, assembly, bindery, mechanic, or warehouse work. Printing, Finishing (Bindery), or Warehouse experience.
