Quad in Hartford is seeking motivated, detail-oriented Warehouse Material Handlers (Forklift Drivers) to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our production floor, responsible for inventory control to ensure materials are brought efficiently and accurately to machines, keeping production downtime to a minimum.
You will move product and skids using hand jacks, motorized Raymond lifts, or forklifts, and service press and finishing machines to keep the plant running smoothly. Your day will involve loading and unloading finished products and materials from semi-trailers and auto-wrappers, while maintaining accurate inventory records using onboard PCs and RF barcoding systems. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment where you will work as a team player to troubleshoot problems and solve issues as they arise.
We offer a 12-hour compressed work schedule (7 a.m. - 7 p.m.) that does not rotate. This unique 3/4 or 4/3 schedule allows you to work just 182 days a year while maintaining full-time status, giving you four days off every other week to pursue hobbies, relax, or spend time with family.

Factory, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Shipping, or other work experience where mechanical or handwork was necessary, such as laborer, machinist, assembly, bindery, mechanic, or warehouse work. Printing, Finishing (Bindery), or Warehouse experience.
