About the Role

This position serves as a strategic bridge between traditional database administration and modern data engineering. The Data Engineer is responsible for designing and maintaining scalable data solutions that power enterprise analytics, reporting, and system integration. By combining deep technical expertise in database lifecycle management with the agility of ETL/ELT processes, this role ensures data quality, security, and availability while actively shaping the organization's BI and data strategy.

The ideal candidate will not only build robust data pipelines but also foster a culture of data governance. You will work closely with application teams to define requirements from complex enterprise platforms like ERP, MES, and CRM systems. Your work will directly enable business analysts and developers to derive actionable insights, ensuring that data architecture aligns seamlessly with operational needs and regulatory standards.

Hiring Process

Candidates selected for this role will undergo a comprehensive evaluation designed to assess both technical depth and cultural fit. The process typically includes:

  1. Initial Screening: A review of qualifications and experience with enterprise data environments.
  2. Technical Assessment: A deep dive into data modeling, performance tuning, and ETL architecture.
  3. System Design: A discussion on designing scalable solutions for hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.
  4. Team Interview: A conversation with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate collaboration and problem-solving skills.
  5. Final Review: Offer discussion and onboarding planning.

Compliance and Culture

We operate in a highly regulated environment where data integrity is paramount. This role requires strict adherence to compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and 21 CFR Part 11. We value professionals who understand the critical importance of data privacy, security, and audit readiness.

Our team thrives on cross-functional collaboration. We encourage open communication between infrastructure, application, and support teams to ensure that data solutions are not only technically sound but also aligned with broader business goals. We are committed to building a diverse workforce that brings varied perspectives to solving complex data challenges.
