We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Data Center Engineer to join our Data Center Management Team. This role is a fast-paced, challenging, and career-rewarding opportunity to recruit and develop top talent on one of the most complex and high-profile programs within the government. You will partner with the Facility Manager and Data Center Manager to optimize IT system hosting and effectively monitor M&E systems, including power distribution units, uninterruptible power supplies, and cooling systems. Your work will ensure operational integrity and performance across enterprise computing infrastructure, ranging from end-point devices and data center servers to multi-cloud services and virtualized applications.
In this position, you will serve as a Technical Advisor, providing expert consultation on maintenance strategies, system upgrades, and innovative colocation solutions. You will conduct regular data center assessments to identify deficiencies in power, space, and cooling, offering actionable recommendations to enhance overall resiliency. Additionally, you will apply knowledge of ICD-705 Security Protocols to enforce compliance, conduct vulnerability audits, and collaborate with security teams to develop policies that align with guidelines.
