About the Role
As a Data Center Operations Technician in Reno, NV, you will be the backbone of our infrastructure, ensuring the physical integrity and operational efficiency of our data center environment. This 6-month contract-to-hire position is designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings and take pride in maintaining critical hardware. You will play a vital role in installing server racks, managing cabling, and executing break/fix troubleshooting to resolve technical tickets and support hardware deployments.
Your day-to-day involves collaborating with multiple teams to ensure maximum uptime while adhering to strict safety procedures. Whether you are working on ladders, handling equipment replacements, or navigating varying temperatures, your strong work ethic and curiosity will drive the team's success. This role is ideal for someone with a willingness to learn who is ready to commit to a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.
Hiring Process
Candidates must be prepared to complete the OSHA 10 Construction Certification prior to their start date. We look for individuals who demonstrate coachability and a strong foundation in technical proficiency.
