About the Role
We are seeking a Data Center Construction Manager to lead critical construction operations for a client in Bowling Green, OH. This 6+ month contract role is designed for a senior subject matter expert who will own safety as the #1 priority while directing daily construction activities for large-scale data center projects.
In this position, you will serve as the primary leader for site safety standards, compliance, and continuous improvement, modeling an accident-free culture. You will manage large technician teams (60+ union and non-union personnel), overseeing field operations to meet production goals, budgets, and schedule milestones. As a technical authority on low voltage, structured cabling, and fiber installations, you will drive testing and commissioning activities, ensuring strict adherence to ANSI/TIA, BICSI, and NEBS specifications.
Your day will involve developing project plans, managing 5-week look-ahead schedules, and resolving workflow challenges or design gaps. Beyond technical oversight, you will foster a culture of collaboration and craftsmanship by conducting hiring, training, and mentorship for onsite personnel, ensuring crew capabilities are elevated through technical coaching.
