Under the supervision of the Director of Technology, this Data Analyst serves as a critical bridge between raw data and instructional improvement within the Yorktown Central School District. The position is designed to support teachers and administrators by transforming complex student assessment data into actionable insights. By preparing reports, spreadsheets, and presentations, the analyst provides the formative and summative data necessary to evaluate and enhance instruction across the district.
The role involves a dynamic day-to-day rhythm of data management and community support. You will collect and maintain critical data from various school and community sources, entering it into the district's student information systems and data dashboards. Beyond technical analysis, you will serve as a primary point of contact for staff and families, responding to inquiries regarding student management systems and portal access. The position also requires active collaboration with school leadership teams to promote continuous improvement and the ability to present data findings to diverse groups, including the school system and the broader community.
