About the Role
We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to serve as the vital link between our dental professionals and our laboratory. In this role, you will manage the daily flow of customer interactions, handling inquiries related to scheduling, pricing, billing, payments, and logistics. You will be responsible for guiding new doctors through the kit acquisition process and reactivating dormant accounts.
Your day will involve coordinating closely with technicians and shipping departments to resolve issues regarding case timelines, shade photos, and special alerts. You will also manage data collection, generate reports for supervisors, and handle credit card transactions and credit slips. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems to keep our dental partners satisfied.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleCorrespond with accounts via phone, email, and live chat
- check_circleCommunicate customer issues and concerns to management in a timely manner
- check_circleRun reports for supervisors as requested
- check_circleReceive incoming customer calls regarding scheduling, pricing, billing, and logistics
- check_circleCollect monthly Excel data and generate Excel charts
- check_circleSchedule newly logged cases and reschedule late cases
- check_circlePrint shade photos and attach them to appropriate cases
- check_circleProcess credit slips and accept credit card payments
- check_circleFollow up on cases not meeting due dates or requiring specific shades
- check_circleSchedule out-of-lab custom shades and coordinate pickups
- check_circlePlace orders for products, supplies, or parts with appropriate departments
- check_circleManage daily call lists for cases requiring additional time from doctors
Requirements
- verifiedHigh school diploma or equivalent
- verifiedMinimum 1 year of experience in a customer-focused position
- verifiedExperience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Nice to Have
Previous dental experience including experience as a dental assistant, laboratory technician, or prior job experience in a dental manufacturing company.
